Talks on Ukraine’s future security and reconstruction wrapped up in Brussels on Thursday as Russia and Ukraine continued to trade air attacks. The discussions looked at what guarantees could protect Ukraine after the fighting ends and how rebuilding might be financed.

Ukraine’s lead negotiator, Rustem Umerov, said representatives of the World Bank and BlackRock attended, the Associated Press reported. Ukrainian officials also reported injuries from Russian strikes in the Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The Brussels meeting produced no publicly announced end to the fighting.
