Delegates will gather in Antalya, Türkiye, on Monday, 9 November, for the UN’s annual climate conference. COP31 runs through 20 November at the Antalya Expo Center, with a leaders’ summit scheduled for 11 and 12 November.

A question for the meeting is how governments will turn existing climate commitments into action. The official programme includes discussions on financial and technical support for developing countries. For governments trying to plan for floods, droughts and other climate pressures, how that support is delivered matters as much as the pledges made at the conference.
